was born in 1978 in Náchod. In 2002 he graduated Forestry Engineering on the Forestry Faculty of the Czech Agriculture University in Prague. He started to work on the Forestry and Game Management Research Institute - Forest Research Station at Opočno in 2004 after the civil military service there. He is working in the team occupying research of forest regeneration. He is solving problems related to species conversions of stands with substitute tree species in air polluted areas, problems of stand regeneration near the upper limit of natural beech occurrence and tasks of development of natural and near-natural mountain forests. Further, he cooperates on the research of afforestation.
