ING. FRANTISEK SACH, CSC. (born in 1948, Oct. 6 at Benesov) graduated on the Forest Faculty of the Agricultural University at Brno in 1971. As a worker of forest management was employed in the Institute of forest management at Mimon from 1972 to1974. From 1974 he worked in the Forest Research Station at Opocno. He solved problems connected with silviculture related to water and soil conservation. In 1987 he created theses on the theme: Influence of forest harvest practices and logging technologies on soil erosion. From 1990 he has led the section of forest amelioration and he has assisted to a chief of the station. His publications are listed in the Czech version.
