Education

Gymnasium Nachod, graduated in 1965.
Charles University, Faculty of Natural Sciences in Prague, specialisation plant physiology, graduated in 1971.
The first degree (RNDr.) on Charles University (Faculty of Natural Sciences) in Prague, 1982.

Work

I have been working in Forest Research Station at Opocno since 1971. My research specialisation is nursery management, especially methods of assessment planting stock quality. I collaborate on the research subproject 03 "Biotechnical measures for sustaining stability and functionality of forest at reforesting" and on project of National Agency for Agriculture Research (NAZV) "The possibility of use clone mixture of Picea abies /L./ Karst. with higher resistance to stresses on anthropogenic disturbed mountain localities". I parcipitate on assessment of plant physiology by means of measuring chlorophyll fluorescence.
